This English course is planned to help you apprehend English as a 'working language' and no longer a subject in 6th form college.
Each lesson here will have different and various resources that can help you to understand and second the work you do in class, either individually or in a group. The evaluation of this course is continuous: your participation, enthusiasm and team spirit count as much as your level in English.
The evaluation in S1 is continuous and the final S1 mark will include:
Individual evaluation: 60%
- 30% - a regularly updated logbook (due on week 43 in class) & an individual paragraph in a formal group report (due on week 50 on Moodle)
- 30% - oral presentation of your role in the team & team work (due week 50 in class)
Group evaluation: 40%
- a finalised visual document (due week 50 on the team's Google drive). If over a week late, 1pt 'malus'.
Remember to work often for short periods rather than for hours at a time randomly.
